Have you heard about the Sugarpine Drive-In yet? If not, be sure to put it on your list of things to do this summer! It's a cute little casual drive-in restaurant on the banks of the Sandy River, at the mouth of The Gorge. The food is amazing and the vibe is equal parts casual picnic and history lesson since it's on the Historic Columbia River Highway and right down the street from the Troutdale Historical Society. We tried the pulled pork sandwiches, frosé, and their signature Sugarpine Cone. The only drawback? Parking. We parked on the opposite side of the river and walked across the bridge on the footpath provided.
